Love-filled weddings and elopements carefully curated to truly reflect ‘you’
Your wedding ceremony: anything but ordinary.
Your ceremony is the heart of your wedding day - the moment when you make your promises, celebrate your story and look towards your future.
Getting to know you
Before I write a single word, I want to get to know the people who are getting married. We'll talk about your relationship, your families, your interests, the things that make you laugh and the little details that make your relationship yours.
And eventhough we’re planning something in the future, I’ll get you to think about how you want to remember the day. How do you want to feel when you look back on one of the most significant moments in your life?
I'm curious by nature, so there will be questions (lots of them!). I'll listen, take notes and then turn what I've learned into a bespoke ceremony written especially for you. I want you to recognise yourselves in it, for you to read or hear the words and think, “Yep. That's us.”
Around the key legal aspects of your ceremony, there is space for vows, the exchange of rings or some other taonga, or symbolic enactments that reflect your culture or honour special people. There are traditions you might love, traditions you might want to reinvent, and plenty you can happily leave behind. I'll share ideas, resources and guidance along the way and you can decide what’s important to you.
Eloping? Absolutely YES!
Thinking of an intimate exchange somewhere beautiful with a handful of your favourite people? Your elopement deserves a ceremony that's every bit as personal as a traditional wedding. I'll help you create a ceremony that feels right and be there to make sure everything comes together on the day.
(Have I mentioned that if your idea of an elopement involves a mountain top, I'm totally up for the climb? I can definitely swap my high heels for hiking boots!)
“Hiking boots or high heels, I'm an adventurous, funloving Tauranga wedding celebrant who will marry you anywhere - in any footwear. Personal, memorable, and love-filled weddings, elopements and other special occasions in the Bay of Plenty and beyond.”
